  • Spurs 3, Son Heung-Min (6’) Giovani Lo Celso (69’) Dejan Kulusevski (90’)

Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City suffer and end in a draw where they deserved much more. City wasted opportunities, but a ref mistake in the end could have sunked them. City played well enough for the win, but a bitter draw is the result.

A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some great play for the team as the intensity was there early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but chances were created and it led to an all around solid match even if an unfair result was had.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played a decent match and even going away with a point is a missed chance.

City had so many players who played well and this seems to be a case of a bad draw and more ref shows.

Two others of note who did play well and were lively were Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku who showed up well.

The story of the night is that City get a draw and missed opportunity.

The new season is here and it will make for a fun one as there are many contenders.
