Manchester United are struggling so far this season and the problems continue to pile up.
Jadon Sancho is the latest player to be pushed aside by Erik Ten Hag and the club. A huge signing (85 million) that has fallen into disgrace.
“Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue,” a club statement issued on Thursday read.
It all goes back to the poor performance on the pitch of the former Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City youth player, and his reaction to Ten Hag’s substitutions. The England international claimed he was being used as a “scapegoat” after the Dutch manager said he had been left out of the squad against Arsenal due to his performance in training.
“Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have forced myself to train very well this week. I think there are other reasons for this issue that I will not go into. I have been a scapegoat for a long time, which is not fair,” Sancho wrote on social media in a post that has since been deleted.
United have finally reacted and removed him from the first team. He’s barely played so far this season, taking the field for just 76 minutes.
Meanwhile, Manchester United‘s problems are piling up. Along with Sancho, the club had to deal with the Mason Greenwood situation, while Antony is also unavailable after he was accused of domestic abuse.
