Man Utd News: David Beckham offers to help Manchester

David Beckham is enjoying the project he has as owner of Inter Miami but at the same time is concerned about the situation that Manchester United, his childhood club, have found themselves in of late.

The owner of the MLS franchise attended the Qatar Formula 1 GP and there he answered questions posed to him by Sky Sports about the crisis the Red Devils are experiencing.

Rather interestingly, one of the main bids for the English club is rumored to come from Qatar.

“We are one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest. We want stability,” he said.

“I think that’s the most important thing. We all have our favorites of who we think needs to run the club and look after it and take it back to where it belongs.

“We want to get back to the top and II know the right people to do that, so we’ll see.”

In addition, Beckham called for patience with Erik Ten Hag, after the team’s latest Premier League and Champions League defeats.

“He’s a good coach,” Beckham said. “These are difficult times and there is a lot of noise in the club now.

“We need to get rid of that noise. We need a decision to be made for the good of the club, the coaches, the players and the fans.”

The atmosphere at the club around the Glazers, the U.S. owners of the English club, is terrible.

The fans want an urgent change in ownership that will lead to the resurrection of a European giant that has been in the doldrums for far too long.
