Manchester City have not signed any reinforcements in the January transfer window. Pep Guardiola’s side have all their players in good form and with well-known names in every position.
However, the English team want to sign new players for next season as they look to improve their squad to continue their good run. Moreover, the future of Gundogan and Bernardo Silva is uncertain as several clubs are targeting them.
According to ‘Daily Mail’, James Maddison is the main contender to join Manchester City. His current contract with Leicester City expires in June 2024 and it seems that the English club will not renew him.
Nevertheless, Newcastle are also keeping an eye on him but the English player prefers to play under Pep Guardiola.
