Chelsea have recently been linked with a move to sign Roma attacker Paulo Dybala.
Fabrizio Romano recently mentioned the links on his Podcast last week, with the quotes cited below…
🚨 “Mauricio Pochettino is a super big fan of Paulo Dybala but the focus now at Chelsea is on Caicedo, it’s crucial to understand this. Also, Chelsea are trying to things less random this summer, less negotiating for 5-7 players at the same time, do things step by step, focus on… pic.twitter.com/MWIpiIfF12

There had also been rumours that Dybala had a very low release clause that Chelsea, or any other club, could trigger. That clause was suspected to be just €12m.
And it looks like Roman boss, and ironically former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has also been asked about this release clause and if it even exits.
Mourinho was a little coy and says that he does not know if such clause exists or not, or that he even knows anything about Dybala’s contract, in words cited below.
But he does says that he talks to Dybala as he does with all of his players.

It will certainly be interesting to see if anything develops here as the summer transfer window goes on and Chelsea’s priorities become clearer.
