Chelsea have received a boost in one of their key transfer moves this summer.
There has been a lot going on regarding this deal and it has very much turned into another transfer saga.
Sources: Why Chelsea are already in a much better position than this time last year!
But sometimes when a club is trying hard to sign a player and the other club is holding firm, it takes the player to get involved himself and actively push for that move away.
Whether Moises Caicedo is actively pushing to leave Brighton right now or not remains to be seen, but he is certainly dead set on joining Chelsea right now and looks prepared to do all he can to get it done.
Transfer reporter Ben Jacobs had the lowdown on the situation today writing in his latest exclusive and extensive Chelsea FC column over at SPTC.

Jacobs also says that industry insiders expect a £70+10m offer might be enough for Chelsea to land Caicedo.
He said: “As things stands, Chelsea are still trying for around £80-85m, with a guaranteed fee of around £70m. Industry insiders still maintain a £70+10m offer might be enough. I am also told by sources it’s not true Caicedo is in any way still ‘committed’ to Brighton despite reports. He is of course professional, but he wants a move away. Brighton are also resigned to eventually selling him.
“It’s also important to note that Chelsea are the only club actively negotiating with Brighton. It is not true Liverpool are in the race. They love the player, just not the price.”
