Manchester United felt Brentford defender Nathan Collins was tormented after dodging the red card after pulling Brian Mbeumo back in the goal in a 3-1 loss last weekend<\/h2>\n
Chief of Judge Howard Webb reportedly confirmed to Manchester United as the victim of a major mistake in Brentford’s defeat last weekend. United lost 3-1 in West London and put pressure on Reuben Amorim in the end, but the club felt it was tough.<\/p>\n
Bruno Fernandez saw his penalty being saved by Kaoimhin Keleher after Nathan Collins’s Brian Mbeumo foul offered them a route back to the game. Collins was bailed out by the goalkeeper and was lucky twice as he escaped the red card to pull United back in the box.<\/p>\n
Judge Craig Pawson opposed the fire, and his decision was supported by the VAR, and a statement was issued to explain the reasoning. “The referee’s penalty call was checked and confirmed by Var. Collins was deemed to have pulled Mbeumo back,” he read. “Var also checked Collins for the umpire’s yellow card call. They thought Mbeumo was not in control of the ball.”<\/p>\n
That decision was questioned by many and had a clear impact on the game, with Brentford keeping 11 players on the pitch and scoring again. United felt they were struggling, and the Daily Mail says they wrote to professional match officials for an explanation.<\/p>\n

United CEO Omar Bellada and technical director Jason Wilcox got answers from PGMO Chief Webb, whom Pawson and Val had made a mistake and Collins should have seen the red. It’s not the first time Webb has admitted a high-profile error this season, and it’s not the first time former Premier League umpire Mark Halsey has been surprised by this.<\/p>\n
Halsey told The Sun: “The Match Center statement said Mbeumo has no control over the ball. It’s not the law about controlling the ball.<\/p>\n
“It’s about the possibility of controlling the ball.” In my opinion, the match center statement was absolute nonsense, and it was a clear and clear denial of the opportunity for goalscoring. \u201d<\/p>\n

Also, Webb was announced this week when Viktor Gyoker clashed with Nick Pope. “Var checks for penalties,” Webb explained by officials from the Premier League match on the Mic’d Up Show.<\/p>\n
