Gary Neville responded to Reuben Amorim after the Manchester United manager claimed he was having a negative impact on his players this season.<\/h2>\n

Gary Neville denounced Reuben Amorim for nurturing an “excuse mentality” at Manchester United after the manager suggested that the manager was affecting his team.<\/p>\n
Amorim said his player is likely to bear media criticism in his heart before he wins a 2-0 2-0 victory over Sunderland on Saturday. Other well-known original players like Neville and Wayne Rooney and Paul Shoals are open to concerns about Amorim’s lack of tactical flexibility.<\/p>\n

“Look, they were hopeless in the system. They are absolutely hopeless. Imperfect, it’s not the system, it’s not you, it’s the player. We can abuse players. For example, Mason Mount didn’t like playing the left wing because we didn’t like the specific things I saw.<\/p>\n
“So there’s part of the system that’s problematic in the sense that they don’t have the right players. That means that Bruno isn’t in his best position. The system causes problems, but he’s right in what he says, that’s not the whole problem.<\/p>\n

“Players are the problem. Managers are the problem. If you’re losing a football game to the level that Manchester United was doing, everything is the problem.<\/p>\n
“I played in the dressing room. It was accountable. Why blame others when you lose a match? That’s a pretty big question itself. I don’t have time for it, excuses, shortcuts, blaming others.<\/p>\n
The goals from Mount and Benjamin Sesco gave the third victory from seven Premier League matches on Saturday, bringing United to ninth place in an international break.<\/p>\n
