After Daniel Levy left the Spurs last month, Rednap had suggested that Sugar Lord left the club in &#8220;complete chaos.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Redknapp claimed that Levy deserves recognition for leaving the club &#8220;in a really good way.&#8221; Naturally, Lord Sugar took umbrella with these remarks, dramatically threatening legal action against former soccer players.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;He talks a lot of garbage,&#8221; the apprentice star posted on social media. &#8220;When Daniel Levi took over the Spurs, Alan Sugar left the club amidst the right chaos, he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He and Skye are hearing from my lawyer on Monday,&#8221; Rednap chose to &#8220;set the record straight&#8221; in his first appearance after speaking out and returning to the station.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I said Sugar Lord has confused the club,&#8221; Rednap said in a football report Friday night. \u201cI just want to make it clear that he has stabilized the club and invested heavily during his time as president.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;When he took over in 1991, the Spurs were close to bankruptcy and by the time he resigned, his financial situation was reflected. He also put a lot of money in his team and facility.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am pleased to apologise to Lord Sugar and his family for misunderstanding and arising and setting the record straight.&#8221; Following the apology aired on the sky, the 78-year-old turned his eyes to X and responded.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On September 13th, Jamie Rednap said on Sky Sports that he &#8220;disturbed&#8221; Tottenham when he sold the club to Daniel Levy,&#8221; he wrote to X.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;A further apology also led to a donation of \u00a310,000 to Great Ormond Street Hospital.&#8221; As mentioned earlier, Lord Sugar took over control of Tottenham in 1991.<\/p>\n<p>In 1999, former Arsenal boss George Graham delivered the only silverware of his tenure as he won the Worthington Cup (Carabao Cup) after winning Leicester City in the final.
