Antony was exiled by Reuben Amorim in the weeks leading up to the Manchester United exit, and the Brazilian winger bumped into how he was treated before rejoining the real Betis<\/h2>\n

Antony crashed into the treatment he received after being frozen by Manchester United and accused the club of showing “lack of respect” and “disrespect” on his final day at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
The Brazilian winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis, leaving no secret of his desire to permanently return to his La Liga outfit over the summer. However, he had to wait until the final day of the transfer window to take his wish, during which he was effectively expelled by Reuben Amorim, forced to train from the first team team and removed from the club’s preseason friendship.<\/p>\n
And Antony believes the club’s approach to the other United “bomb squads” left him wanting a lot, as seen as surplus for requirements such as Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.<\/p>\n

“Look, I’m not the kind of person involved in the controversy. In fact, I won’t mention anyone’s name here,” Antony told ESPN Brazil when asked to look back on his final weeks as a Manchester United player. “But I think there was a bit of respect there, and even a bit of disrespectfulness, good morning, good morning.<\/p>\n
“Not so. But anyway, in the past, I don’t take these things too much. Now I’m here, Betis, I live here. That’s what’s most important to me.”<\/p>\n

Antony followed Old Trafford with Eric 10 Hugs in the summer of 2022, if all the add-ons and bonuses were met, followed by Old Trafford with a transfer fee that was above \u00a386 million. However, he was unable to replicate the dazzling shape he showed with Ajax and Edivisy, and after weeks of negotiations, United was sold to Betis at a major loss, eventually moving for just \u00a321.65 million.<\/p>\n
However, Antony believes there is a mitigation factor behind his failure to do so in the Premier League, but he takes responsibility for what goes wrong.<\/p>\n

Antony asks why he believed things weren’t going well and says, “I’m someone who accepts my responsibility. I think the off-field issues have had a huge impact on me. I know my potential.<\/p>\n
“I’m also responsible for not doing it because I’m not playing the way I wanted it to. But I’ve always been necessary to see myself, this whole process, this time United.”<\/p>\n
