Mikel Arteta celebrated as if he had won the title. And the truth is said, this gives Arsenal the belief that they might do it this year.<\/p>\n
It was a victory in the statement, not just because of the outcome, but because it was a way of showing incredible characters to fight to the end.<\/p>\n
They simply refused to give up. This was to send a message to Liverpool, my favorite of courage, mentality and title. Arteta’s men did all three at St. James Park.<\/p>\n
Naturally, they won with two goals from the set piece, earning 36 from the corner since the start of 2023\/24.<\/p>\n

Arsenal’s Super Sub-Michelle Merino equalised 84 minutes later, and Gabriel gave the winner a nick in the 96th minute. What a moment for Arsenal.<\/p>\n
Undoubtedly, Arsenal would have lost this game last season, and after their nightmare launched this campaign, they closed the gap to two points at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
It’s no wonder the Arsenal players, Arsenal benches and all the backroom staff sprinted through the touchline after Gabriel’s dramatic winner.<\/p>\n
This kind of outcome looked like another difficult story for Arsenal at St. James Park, so you can mess up the team.<\/p>\n
Arsenal had lost on their final three visits to the Northeast, but it looked as if they had lost four times in a row.<\/p>\n

Newcastle’s own \u00a369 million striker Nick Ultemade scored to advance on the home side, and Arsenal missed the chance after the chance. It looked like another of those times.<\/p>\n
I could see Arteta getting more and more annoyed. Perhaps the biggest culprit of all is Arsenal’s \u00a364 million striker Victor Gyoker, who doesn’t look good enough at this level. Arsenal played enough to create a chance to win two games, let alone one.<\/p>\n
Fair to Arteta, the Arsenal boss released the handbrake with his formation and tactics, and they really locked up Newcastle. Ebeki Eze was twice denied by a stunning save from the Pope who made a superstop from Bukayo Saka.<\/p>\n

Judge Jarrred Gillett pointed out the scene after Gyoker was covered by the Pope. It looked like a clear penalty, but Gillett was sent to the VAR screen and changed his mind. I had to do forensic checks to see the Pope’s challenge. So, what happened to the referee’s call?<\/p>\n
Of course, Newcastle was always going to punish Arsenal with their useless finishes. Christian Mosquera clumsyly handed out unnecessary corners. Newcastle’s quick routine allowed Sandrotonari to send a nearby post-cross and return the Ultemede Rose home.<\/p>\n
Gabriel claimed he had been pushed, but it was embarrassing that he fell so easily. Newcastle loved it. Fans have become wild and begin to untie Arteta.<\/p>\n
Mosquera was hooked at halftime. Julientimber was denied by the Pope in another incredible save and you began to wonder how Arsenal wanted to lose the game on Earth.<\/p>\n
But then they dug deep. As the clock was ticking and Newcastle clinged, Arsenal worked in a short corner, Declan Rice whipped over the cross, and Merino glanced at the far post.<\/p>\n
One point has been saved. They were scared when the ball hit Gabriel’s arm, but this time Val saved them. I still had time to get all three.<\/p>\n
Arsenal’s alternative, Martin Odegard, floated from the right to the corner, with Gabriel in a nearby post, defeating the giant Dan Byrne and sending travel fans wild.<\/p>\n
