Liverpool experienced the first loss of the season after Eddie Nketia collided deeply into stop time to secure a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Ismaila Saar gave the palace a lead from the corner in the 9th minute as the home side paid off with a strong start to the game.<\/p>\n
Leaving just three minutes of normal time, Federico Chiesa’s volley appeared to have rescued Arne Slot’s side. However, Nketiah’s goal after nine minutes of downtime secured all three points.<\/p>\n
The reds remain at the top of the table, but Arsenal can cut their lead to two points in a win over Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon. And here’s how Ian Doyle evaluated Liverpool players at Selhurst Park.<\/p>\n

There are no openers and FINE SAVES opportunities from Munoz, Pino and Mateta. We watched the short second half after the visitors controlled to the winners in their later years.<\/p>\n

Although a bit unlucky to admit the corner for the opener, there was a major issue dealing with Pinot and Mitchell under the palace. We made a little more progress towards halftime. Vulgar.<\/p>\n

They present two great opportunities in the first half of the palace, sort of stripping off most of it, but the headers approaching the corner. Reservations and undercoats.<\/p>\n

When taking away some clearances, he is not his usual constructive self. They kept the second half of the decent line when Liverpool was pushed high.<\/p>\n

Alexander Isaac 4<\/p>\n
It looked like a player starting their first Premier League game with a player who hadn’t trained for a long time. I missed a decent second half opening. Vulgar.<\/p>\n
Florian Wirtz 6<\/p>\n
It ran in a free role and worked hard to find space, but there was no quality of ownership. He saved Henderson in the second half, which was much better in his 10th position. Vulgar.<\/p>\n
