Oliver Glasner has no heart on Mark Guech’s thinking ahead of his troublesome encounter with Liverpool on Saturday. In fact, he has a hard time seeing why England International’s attitude was frequently praised in the wake of the transfer drama, given that the centre-back simply respected the terms of his contract.<\/p>\n
Arne Slot’s Reds has signed a deadline agreement with Crystal Palace worth \u00a335 million with a 10% sale clause.<\/p>\n
At a press conference Friday, Glasner said: “I have absolutely no concerns. I’m totally certain and as long as Mark plays at Crystal Palace, he’ll be playing 100%, which is what I’ll be looking forward to tomorrow.<\/p>\n
“I’m really sure he’ll show this again. He’s a great player and he’s playing a great game so I’m hoping for a great game from him. Of course I had a conversation with Mark, but I think I think it was more or less.<\/p>\n

“We spoke before, at the end of last season, at the offseason, at the preseason. Of course, we spoke after the transfer window closed, but that was a five-minute conversation.<\/p>\n
“On the other side, it shows why we are so outstanding in sticking to an agreement, why we live in. Let’s say if we sign a contract, then we’re sticking to it.<\/p>\n
“Of course, he was a bit disappointed at first, but “No, it’s okay, I like being here, I like the team, I like the team, I like the staff, I like Crystal Palace, I’m a boy from South London, it’s all good, I’ll do my best.”<\/p>\n

If the Palace avoided a defeat against Liverpool, they would be unbeaten 18 games in all competitions, matching the 1969 club record run.<\/p>\n
Before meeting other unbeaten sides in the Premier League, Glasner said, “I don’t mind that (an opportunity to match club records). Last year we got off to the worst start in Premier League history, with the last one with a point record.<\/p>\n
After netting and supporting the Community Shield victory, Ismaila Sar, who has four goals on seven outings against Liverpool, is a good fit for the palace. Yeremy Pino, Adam Wharton and Eddie Nketiah are also available, but Caleb Kporha, Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucure remain on the sidelines.<\/p>\n
