What is a FIFA Green Card?<\/h2>\n

Specifically, this new card is not for umpire use, but for team coaches to “challenge” in NFL style, a decision that is considered unfair on the field.<\/p>\n

U20 World Cup coaches can use their green cards several times in situations similar to those worthy of participating in VAR: Canction, Red Card, if the referee does not score a VAR: Penalty, Red Card, or when the referee has the card to the wrong player.<\/p>\n

The card is part of the Video Review System (FVS) that was implemented last year at Zurich’s Blue Star Youth Championship and Colombia’s U-20 Women’s World Cup.<\/p>\n
