Tottenham Hotspur owners remain in the stance that the North London Club is not on sale. It arises amid reports that a US-based consortium has launched a purchase bid worth \u00a34.5 billion<\/p>\n
As The Sun first reported, Tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick leads a consortium that took an approach to buying clubs. It’s a few weeks after Spurs owner Enic rejected two unofficial approaches to bid on a majority share of Premier League outfits.<\/p>\n
Former DJ Earick failed to get Formula E Team Maserati earlier this year. He has made \u00a33.3 billion in purchases bids from a group of 12 people, including NFL and NBA investors, with an additional \u00a31.2 billion set aside for transfer funds. The total package surpasses Chelsea’s \u00a34.25 billion acquisition from Todd Boley and his investment group in 2022.<\/p>\n

However, sources close to the Lewis family, who runs Tavistock, the company behind Enic, claim that their attitude has not changed and the club has not been put for sale.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, it is understood at this point that the family has not received a bid from Earick’s consortium or expressions of interest.<\/p>\n
ENIC owns 87% of Lily White, but the club is seen in the UK acquisition code as the remaining shares are public. It states that expressions of interest or bids must be submitted to the acquisition code panel and published, but this was not the case at this time.<\/p>\n
It’s all led by the exit of longtime executive committee chairman Daniel Levy amid major changes at the club.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, an Asian consortium of investors led by Dr. Roger Kennedy and Wing Phi, via Firehawk Holdings Limited, presented its unofficial intent to make an offer to Spurs on the day Levy left.<\/p>\n

Amanda Stavely and PCP International Finance Ltd are believed to have shown sufficient interest to not actually show any future bids.<\/p>\n
The PCP later made it clear they would not make the offer, and in a statement sparked by the benefits of the acquisition, the Spurs confirmed that Enic “explicitly refused to make a separate preliminary expression of interest” to acquire the entire shares in the club.<\/p>\n
They then said, “The Club and Enic’s board of directors are confirming that Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and that Enic is not going to accept such offers to gain interest in the club.”<\/p>\n
