BERLIN (AP) – Bayern Munich hopes that the Oktoberfest will not disrupt the Bundesliga record start when Werder Bremen visits.<\/p>\n

The 190th edition of the beer-filled festival began last weekend in Munich, with Friday’s match being one at Bayern’s only home before the celebration ends on October 5th.<\/p>\n

The Vincent Kompany team will take the occasion to perform on a special Oktoberfest-themed kit, but the coach will be wary of the decline in traditional performances of the club during the festival. Bayern has won just 64% at home during the Oktoberfest, but usually earns 76% of their home games in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

Bremen defeated Bayern 5-2 in Munich at the 2008 Oktoberfest, with Bayern winning only five of his last 11 matches at home during the festival. Bayern also acknowledges more by reducing goals during the Oktoberfest.<\/p>\n

That being said, Bayern’s 12 points with a 15 plus goal difference is four rounds later.<\/p>\n
