Lots of joy, pride, excitement. Your dreams come true. I would like to thank everyone who has always supported me on this trip

Ousmane Dembl

“I’m so happy, proud and excited. My dreams come true. I’m grateful to everyone who has always supported me on this journey,” the PSG player wrote.

“Big! Congratulations, I’m so happy to you. You deserve it

Leo Messi

The comment has received thousands of comments for a while.

“A great! Congratulations, I’m so happy for you. You deserve it,” Messi wrote on Instagram.

A eight-time Ballon D’Or winner, Leo Messi played with Oousmane Dembele in Barcelona from 2017 to 2021.

Messi’s advice that changed Dembele’s career: “After that…”

Messi and Dembele have always had a good relationship. As a sign, the French confession of Leo’s advice that changed his career will diminish in history.

From day one, I have always had a great relationship with Messi. My locker was right next to him and he gave me a lot of advice. He was someone who instinctively knew what you needed. He’s the best for me and he’s an inspirational player for me,” Dembele explained in August 2025 on Four Four Two Magazine.

Ousmane Dembele revealed, “Messi told me to be serious if I wanted to reach my dreams. After that I began to observe and learn what he did on the pitch.”

Osmane Dembele after winning the Ballon d’Or: “Luis Enrique is like my father.”

In the same interview, the new Ballon d’Or winner said, “I have a lot of confidence in Luis Enrique at PSG. He gave me total freedom on the pitch. Before the Champions League final, people were screaming, “Balon d’Or!”

After receiving the Ballon d’Or, Dembele expressed her gratitude to Luis Enrique. “I would like to thank PSG for looking for me in 2023.
