Rome (AP) – Judicial Transactions<\/span> For former President Juventus Andrea Agnelli<\/span> A 20-month suspension sentence for false accounting trials was granted by a judge on Monday – perhaps Agneli has returned to football after his sports ban expires next month.<\/p>\n

The trial, which began after prosecutors began an investigation into Juventus in 2021, helped Agneli’s downfall in the record 36 Serie A champions.<\/p>\n

Former Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved was granted a 14-month deal, while former Juventus sports director Fabio Parachti won 18 months.<\/p>\n

Former Juventus CEO Maurizio Alibabene was spared from fraud by a Rome court.<\/p>\n

Juventus, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, was fined 156,000 euros ($183,000) and has also reached a settlement with around 75 investors, whose club pays just 1 million euros ($1.2 million).<\/p>\n

The lawsuit urged the entire board of directors of Agneli and Juventus to resign in 2022. Agneli was then given two separate bans by sports authorities.<\/p>\n

Juventus was hit by a 10-point penalty in the 2022-23 season, and was subsequently removed from the Conference League by UEFA.<\/p>\n

Juventus and his managers were investigated for cashing out illegal fees from player transfers and loans, as well as illegal handling of player salaries. This case can also investigate whether investors are misunderstood by invoices issued for non-existent transactions, demonstrate income, and misconstruedly consider it to be false accounting.<\/p>\n
