Alexis Mac Alistair admits that he and his Liverpool colleagues were tired of the Alexander Isaac Transfer Saga before his prominent move. The Swedish striker was caught up in a summer tug of war with Newcastle United, expressing his desire to join the Premier League champions.<\/p>\n

Mac Allister admitted that Newcastle didn’t like how things were unfolding, saying, “The other clubs may not be happy, but that’s the way they play football and they paid quite a bit of money, so I think it’s good for both clubs.<\/p>\n
“What he wanted is good for him. We know he is him and we’ve suffered from him several times, so we’re so happy to have him.”<\/p>\n
Liverpool are looking to expand their lead at the summit on the Premier League title defense against Everton on Saturday (12:30pm) in the Merseyside Derby.<\/p>\n
