Hugo Echicque’s prominent mistake against Atletico Madrid proved Mohamed Sarah’s point that the Liverpool duo is not on the same page yet. The Reds won the Spanish Giants 3-2 on Wednesday in their first Champions League match of the season.<\/p>\n
Marcos Lorente’s brace cancelled an early strike from Andy Robertson and Sarah, but it was Captain Virgil van Dik who rose to the highest point to oversee Header past Jan Oblak in the 92nd minute to win the match at Anfield.<\/p>\n
However, there was still time on the clock as Red was pushed fourth before the full-time whistle blew. Dominik Szoboszlai played the ball to Salah, who plundered the right flank and finished the house from a few yards across the ball to Ekitike.<\/p>\n

The failed conversion gives Sarah’s previous approval credibility, meaning he still doesn’t have a family understanding of Ekitique on the pitch. Given that the pair only started five games together, that’s not the cause of concern, but you might decide to keep an eye on him as the campaign progresses.<\/p>\n

Ekitike was one of the four Frenchmen involved in the match, but it was the presence of Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann that proved to be a special moment for him. Following the final whis, he traded shirts with the legend of Le Bruce, who retired from international obligations last year, but Ekitique made a senior bow for the national team this month.<\/p>\n
Fascinated by the ownership of the 34-year-old shirt, Ekitike visited Instagram stories and posted a photo of herself holding the kit before tagging Griezmann and simply writing.<\/p>\n
With the first Merseyside derby of the season starting Saturday, we haven’t seen who is seeing Arne Slot expected to fall to the bench in an attack with one of Cody Gakpo, Isak or Ekitike.<\/p>\n
