Barcelona, \u200b\u200bSpain (AP) — The upcoming Champions League match against Barcelona’s Paris Saint-Germain will be played at the home of the previous two seasons, the Llu\u00eds Pompanys Olympic Stadium, the Spanish club said Friday.<\/p>\n

Barcelona hoped to return to the newly renovated Campnoe earlier this season, but construction delays forced them to play elsewhere.<\/p>\n

The club has decided to host PSG at the 55,000-seat Olympic Stadium after being forced to face Valencia in the first home game of the Spanish league season. Tiny Estadi Johan Cruyff<\/span>with only 6,000 seats and is located outside the city.<\/p>\n

Barcelona will also play Getafe in the Spanish league at Johann Cruyff Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n

European Champion PSG will visit Barcelona on October 1st in the second round of the match in the League Phase of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Barcelona said it was working “to obtain the administrative permits necessary to open Spotify Camp Nou in the coming months.”<\/p>\n

Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique helped lead PSG to the European title last season.<\/p>\n
