Virgil van Dick stepped up death to plunder Liverpool’s dramatic winner against Atletico Madrid, so that Marcos Lorente appears to prove to be a red tragedy once again.<\/p>\n
The Reds boasted a four-win record in the Premier League ahead of their big game against LaLiga outfits on Wednesday night. The inclusion of Alexander Isaac was a major topic ahead of the kickoff, but Liverpool’s new record signature was nothing more than a viewing brief as his new team got off to a ferocious start.<\/p>\n
Andy Robertson deflected a low Mohamed Sarah free kick past Jan Obrak to break the deadlock over Jan Obrak. And Sarah herself took the trademark effort to double Liverpool’s lead just two minutes later, as the Premier League champions raced from Anfield’s block.<\/p>\n
Atletico halved the halftime stroke deficit as Llorente, who hit twice at Anfield in 2020, attacked again to give Diego Simeone a lifeline. He then sent out a spectacular volley later that day as Lightning attacked twice at Merseyside. However, the final decision was Van Dick, who rose to the highest level to settle in death.<\/p>\n

Jeremie Frimpong 7-Sarah’s goals were deeply involved and seemed to be a threat. It’s very fun to watch.<\/p>\n
Ibrahima konate 6-It was too deep for Atletico’s goal at the end of the first half. That aside, the back was solid and showed why he was courted elsewhere.<\/p>\n
Virgil Van Dijk 8-Liverpool’s leader rarely made a mistake with his foot. He stood firm when his team needed him, then got one better with the late winner.<\/p>\n
Andy Robertson 6- Nicked the goal and remained stable all night. I’ll keep Kerquez honest this season.<\/p>\n
Dominik Szoboszlai 6-I kept stuffing things steadily in the engine room of Liverpool.<\/p>\n
Ryan Gravenberch 8 – Last season, a surprise package, but now there are cogs that are essential for slot machines. We ran the show in the first half.<\/p>\n
Mohamed Salah 8-He was quiet in the Premier League, but here he returned to his moving best. It was a pain in Atletico’s defense.<\/p>\n
Florian Wirtz 6 – There are some nice touches, but still can’t replicate his stunning Bayer Lebakusen form into a red shirt.<\/p>\n
Cody Gakpo 5 – Annoying night for the Dutch, and soon there could be a fight for his spot on the team where Alexander Isaac is fighting for the front three berth.<\/p>\n
Alexander Isak 6 – Liverpool’s \u00a3125 million man fireworks were not there, but he grew into the game. The minutes he left behind would be better, and there is still some sharp approach due to the lack of action.<\/p>\n

Hugo Ekitike 6 – Some great moments, but I can’t make the most of two golden opportunities to find the net.<\/p>\n
The Ling Moha 5- was featured with just over 15 minutes left as Liverpool was about to watch the game.<\/p>\n
