The mystery surrounding Virgil van Dyke’s inexplicable exchange with Alexander Isaac after his final defeat to Newcastle United at Liverpool’s League Cup, Wembley, continues to plot fans, but Van Dick keeps the chat private.<\/p>\n
“I haven’t told you!” he laughed after Liverpool’s victory at Burnley. “Maybe two or three years later, I’ll tell you, but not now. I don’t remember!”<\/p>\n
On the ISAK’s subsequent record-breaking \u00a3125 million deadline, the transfer to Anfield on the deadline added fuel to speculation about the short chat.<\/p>\n

Van Dik has expressed relief that the complications arising from Isaac’s move to champion have been resolved.<\/p>\n
“I know it was a very difficult time,” admitted the 34-year-old. \u201cWhen negotiations are constantly being dragged down, it’s never easy, and a lot of things happen behind the scenes.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot only me, but everyone who connected to the entire team and the club were very pleased that the deal was over.<\/p>\n

Without ISAK, Liverpool found it difficult to penetrate the stubborn Burnley defense and needed a Mohamed Sara spot kick five minutes after the stoppage time.<\/p>\n
Each of the four Reds victories is secured by the late winners of this campaign, with Van Dijk showing his determination that Arne Slot’s team will continue to fight and avoid frustration.<\/p>\n

“We kept trying,” the Dutch captain said. \u201cWe played against a team that had a very low block, which was always difficult, and it could have been an easy draw because of the way they defended.<\/p>\n
“It’s frustrating when you counter that style, but they did it pretty well so you have to give them credit. In the end, we basically kept pushing, so we got the deserved penalty. The body language was good.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe kept pushing each other, staying positive, not getting frustrated, we did everything we could.<\/p>\n
Slot discussed his bold decision to deploy a large number of offensive players to the final stage after the match. When Hannibal Mabri handled the cross, the replacement received a significant penalty.<\/p>\n
Frimon met from the bench by Lingmoja and former Federico Chiesa, so Liverpool concluded with seven advanced players on the field, while Van Dyke was partnered in the centre-half by midfielder Ryan Gravenburch.<\/p>\n
The Liverpool captain said:<\/p>\n
