Liverpool did not move to other targets. Instead they waited and they handed over for Alexander Isaac. There may not have been many more better strikers they may have gone, but certainly they could have done it.<\/p>\n
Isaac, 25, is on strike and Newcastle refused to entertain the negotiations after turning down a \u00a3110 million opening gambit from the Reds. Liverpool had to sit down as magpies missed multiple striker targets as potential ISAK exchanges across Europe turned almost a farce. But they panicked and didn’t go anywhere else. They knew they would get their man.<\/p>\n
The question is, except for the obvious thing about his goal, why should Isaac or anyone else be there, especially after landing Hugo Echicchique early in the window? The fact that 54 of his career goals were in the Premier League with 86.<\/p>\n

“A lot of the reasons that may stand out for me are that he’s already showing this in the Premier League,” said Liverpool boss Arne Slot. \u201cI think he is the only exception we have made when it comes to signing, he is a little older than the others.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know that if he stays healthy, he can score goals for us.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s a big pace that he adds and he can score on both his legs, his head, all of these things.<\/p>\n

Isak, who was able to make his debut from the bench in tomorrow’s clash with Burnley at Turf Moor, fired in the way he forced his move to Anfield.<\/p>\n
The Swedish striker refused to participate in the preseason, trained alone and forced Eddie Howe’s hands at St James Park. It correctly questioned his attitude and personality. But slots aren’t afraid to be like that at Liverpool. He believes there is no need to force their path as the club allows players to leave if the right price is met somewhere.<\/p>\n
“No, not at all,” he said. “We also trade players, so it’s not necessary in our club. If a player wants to leave and gets the right money for him, this club has been selling for many years.<\/p>\n
“There’s absolutely no need to go on a strike at all. I think that’s the opposite. You can continue training here and once Harvey (Eliot) gets his transfer, Tyler Morton gets his transfer.<\/p>\n
“In the final window, there may have been 8-9-10 players who just did their own thing in the best possible way. We’re a club we’re trading, so write this down to all the agents who have players here.<\/p>\n
