LEBAKUSENS, Germany (AP) — Alejandro Grimaldo scored from two free kicks, and Bayer LeBAKUSENS hit informant Aintrak Frankfurt 3-1 to score his first Bundesliga victory and gave coach Kasper Fulmand his ruler victory on Friday.<\/p>\n
Hjulmand has led Leverkusen a few days after Erik Ten Hag was looted only two games in the season.<\/p>\n
The morale-boosting victory came after the layoff of Robert Andrich Bigtain, despite playing the past 30 minutes with 10 men. Teammate Ezekiel Fernandez was also sent to stop time.<\/p>\n
They started quickly. Grimaldo curled with a beautiful free kick in just 10 minutes.<\/p>\n
Patrick Thick’s penalty came 2-0 on a halftime stroke after Nathan Terra was defeated by Frankfurt captain Robert Koch.<\/p>\n
Uzun made it 2-1 early in the second half, but threatened to hold back the optimism of home fans when the comeback didn’t come true even after Andrich was fired for a second bookable attack in the 59th minute.<\/p>\n
Instead, Grimaldo won with another great free kick in stop time.<\/p>\n

After manager Zabi Alonso set out for Real Madrid, Ten Hag was chosen to rebuild the team after a summer escape. Few players remain in 2024 from the Bundesliga and German Cup champions.<\/p>\n
