The acts subject to the claim range from 2009 to 2022 and are primarily related to events that occurred between the 2010\/11 and 2015\/16 season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>The period in question is related when Rome Abramovich was the owner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Chelsea was given to respond until September 19th, but has already issued a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<div data-testid=\"atom-body-paragraph\" class=\"text-onLight-02 break-words body-2 md:body-1\">&#8220;Chelsea FC is pleased to confirm that it is currently reaching conclusions with the FA on issues self-reported by the club,&#8221; the statement said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>\u201cThe Club Ownership Group completed the club purchase on May 30, 2022. During the thorough due diligence process prior to completion of the purchase, the Ownership Group recognized potentially incomplete financial reports regarding historical transactions and other potential violations of the FA regulations. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>\u201cAs soon as the purchase was completed, the club self-reported these issues to all relevant regulators, including the FA. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>&#8220;The club has demonstrated unprecedented transparency during this process, providing comprehensive access to club files and historical data. We will continue to work with the FA to conclude this issue as quickly as possible. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>&#8220;We want to document our gratitude to the FA for our involvement with the club in this complicated case. The focus was on issues that happened over a decade ago.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Abramovich took over in 2003 when he bought the club at Stamford Bridge for \u00a3140 million. His arrival changed his fortune on the pitch as Chelsea enjoyed incredible domestic and European success.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Under his ownership, Chelsea won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups and lifted the UEFA Champions League twice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Abramovich was then forced to sell the club in May 2022 and was purchased by a consortium led by Todd Boley.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Chelsea has been fined by UEFA in the past.
