A list of five reasons why Erik Ten Hag was ruthlessly fired came into being after his shocking departure. Ten Hag, 55, only lasted three games for a German club. He will need to replace the Xabi Alonso after making the transition to Real Madrid this summer.<\/p>\n
The former Manchester United boss was appointed on May 26th and was xed Monday before the transfer window was closed – his unrushed rule lasted just 98 days. Ten hugs leaving with \u00a386,000 daily income due to his \u00a35.2 million salary and retirement package have always faced difficult jobs at Bay Arena.<\/p>\n
Alonso’s time for responsibilities was a lively success, winning the Bundesliga in 2024, ending Bayern Munich’s base with the German title. Leverkusen then finished his final second semester and lost three league games.<\/p>\n
But Alonso wasn’t the only one left. In a summer of widespread change, Leberkusen lost Starman Florian Wiltz, influential wing back Jeremy Fripon, experienced Granite Zaka, defensive rock Jonathan Ta and captain goalkeeper Lucas Huladeckie.<\/p>\n
Despite the fact that Ten Hag has many goodwill to succeed in situations, he is branded as the worst club in their history. The report revealed five reasons why he was quickly xed.<\/p>\n

First of all, according to German outlet builds, Ten Hug couldn’t get along with his players, staff, or even those who arrived with him in July. Dutchman is said to have rejected a “sing” speech before he ended in a 2-1 defeat before Leverkusen’s first league game Hoffenheim, following a rocky preseason that included the current infamous 5-0 hammering against Flamengo under 21.<\/p>\n
Ten Hag then was accused of “interfering” in Leverkusen’s transfer plan and only proposed to sign a player represented at the same institution as him. The 55-year-old is part of the segment and also represents Rasmus Hozilund, who reportedly worked on a big-money deal that brought Andre Onana and Antony to United.<\/p>\n

Additionally, in addition to the transfer issues, it is alleged that Ten Hag was unaware of Lucas Vazquez’s arrival from Madrid until after the Spanish wingback signed his contract. The former Ajax manager also insisted that Xhaka would not move to Sunderland, despite agreeing to let go of the Swiss midfielder.<\/p>\n
Third, the 10 HAG training sessions did not stimulate confidence. He reportedly claimed that press-ups were important in working with the ball, and that his session was “unusually long.”<\/p>\n
The staff were also worried about the “cold” atmosphere around the club since the appointment of 10 hugs. Even nutritionists and physics became disillusioned, and a major amputation appeared.<\/p>\n
And finally, the pitch outcome was terrible. In the first round of DFB Pokal, a 4-0 victory over the fourth-tier Sonnenhof Grossaspach (the two released Sonnenhof Grossaspach), Leverkusen was unable to win one of the first two Bundesliga games.<\/p>\n

Their campaign began with the aforementioned 2-1 defeat at their home in Hoffenheim, and a humiliating 3-3 draw was a draw at Werder Bremen. When 10 hugs played 3-1 within 30 minutes, Bremen had already dropped to 10, which fell as an embarrassing outcome.<\/p>\n
Within 48 hours of full time, the chief of Leverkusen decided to brutally wield the x. Ten Hag responded quickly in a statement criticizing the club’s hierarchy for not giving “the vision to” “time” or “space,” and he described the firing as “unprecedented.”<\/p>\n
He also said, “This was not a relationship based on mutual trust.” Leverkusen has not yet appointed a successor, with Xavi Hernandez, Ange Postecoglou and Edin Terzic all linked.<\/p>\n
