Liverpool defender Ibrahima konate has been strongly linked to his transition to Real Madrid, opening up less than a year into his contract in discussions with French teammate Kylian Mbappe.<\/h2>\n

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Conate jokes that Killian Mbappe is calling him “every two hours” as a link to Real Madrid’s ramp-up. The Frenchman has finished his contract with Liverpool at the end of the season.<\/p>\n
As it stands, there are no signs of a new transaction, and if it is allowed to expire, Conate will be available for free within less than a year. And now Conate teases him that he is talking with Madrid star Mbappe every day.<\/p>\n
He jokingly asked on Telefoot whether Mbappe was trying to persuade him to move to Spain. Meanwhile, Coante was asked if he could speak Spanish and replied “No.”<\/p>\n
Interestingly, Mbappe has already named Liverpool during its current international break. Asked to give him a verdict in the Premier League this season, he was not under the illusion that the Reds and Conate will be challengers for the title.<\/p>\n
“Of course, Liverpool must mention first and foremost, because they are determined to win titles one after the other,” he said in an interview with Bild.<\/p>\n

“But I have high hopes for Arsenal too, because the core of the team has known each other for a long time, and that’s a key factor in football. And Manchester City is always on the forefront anyway, with Pep Guardiola and Erling Haaland.”<\/p>\n
Asked for his predictions about the final champion, he replied: “It’s tough. Maybe Arsenal, maybe it’s their year. It’s certainly easy to say the city or Liverpool.”<\/p>\n

“I didn’t even ask for anything from the club. They made an offer to me, and I answered them with something, that’s it.<\/p>\n
“I want to wait until the end (surprise)… I want this, it’s all completely fake. And in November I said I’m very close to signing a contract. “Oh, they have more information than I do!?”<\/p>\n
“It wasn’t true at the moment, so I was a little mad at the moment because it wasn’t true. For a moment I didn’t want to sign a contract, but I never got close to signing it.<\/p>\n
