The rules aim to prevent artificial inflation of transactions such as sponsorships, and could undermine the league&#8217;s financial rules.<\/p>\n<p>City and the Premier League issued a statement simultaneously on Monday that they &#8220;agree to end the lawsuit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This settlement ends the dispute between the parties over the APT regulations,&#8221; their statement said. &#8220;As part of the settlement, Manchester City accepts that the current APT rules are valid and binding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In another lawsuit, the city faces more than 100 charges <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Claims of financial violations<\/span> From the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>The case was heard by an independent committee between September and December last year, but the verdict was not reached.
