Arsenal was beaten in Liverpool on Sunday, and Peter Schmeichel called for a reliance on the set as he aimed at negative branded football.<\/h2>\n

Peter Schmeichel hammered Arsenal for “ugh branded soccer” after being beaten in Liverpool on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Gunners were about to snap a poor record at Anfield with their final victory coming back when Mikel Arteta was playing for them. It required a stunning Dominique Zobosrai free kick to descend the people of North London, but their performance overcame criticism from several onlookers.<\/p>\n
Arsenal has been accused of lacking the game’s risk element, and many of their threats have come thanks to set pieces, where they have achieved great success. Some people claim that Arteta’s side is alive from the possibility that it will come from corners and free kicks.<\/p>\n
Schmeichel discovered that it was a difficult aspect for gunners to see, and claimed that many of their game plans are trying to win a set piece.<\/p>\n
He stated in Viaplay:<\/p>\n

The former Manchester United goalkeeper also argued that “while they don’t want to humiliate Arsenal, their football brand is so annoying to watch and is designed to misuse the enemy while waiting for a set piece.”<\/p>\n
Arsenal’s winner in the opening weekend victory at Old Trafford came from the corner. It was also the route that Floodgate used to open scores against Leeds before it opened eight days ago. Gary Neville was also critical of the way the Gunners refused to chase the winner at Liverpool.<\/p>\n

In his commentary, he states: “The same old, same old as Arsenal fans – they’ve seen this before. They look comfortable in the big game, but at this point there’s no risk in the game.<\/p>\n
Arsenal has been considered a set piece specialist for over a year. It helped them win some big games, but has been criticized multiple times for not being able to play through the team. Their set piece success has warped the rest of the Premier League, but they didn’t enjoy much joy in the final third at Liverpool on Sunday.<\/p>\n
