Alexander Isaac has finally joined Liverpool from Newcastle United. By that point, the PR battle was already going well.

The Swedish hitman was at the heart of the biggest transfer saga of the summer. The Reds were keen on Swedish international throughout the summer, but their first £110 million bid was rejected in the beginning of August. Isaac is on a strike and publicly accused Newcastle of breaking his transfer promise. Last week, a summit meeting was held for Isaac, his representative, Toon co-owner Jamie Reuben, and Saudi Arabia members (Newcastle principal), and players reiterated his attitude that he has no intention of playing for the club again.

Newcastle claimed that Isaac would not be selling at any price this summer. The meeting revealed that reintegration simply did not occur, and sales were the only option. Newcastle officially pushed Nick Ultemed’s £70 million signature from Stuttgart on Saturday, and now Isaac is finally heading his path.

The 25-year-old signed a six-year contract with Merseyside, becoming the most expensive player in Premier League history. He wears Liverpool shirt 9.

Regarding his movements, he said: “I feel great. It’s been a long journey to get here, but it’s very difficult to be part of this team, this club and all it represents, which I’m proud of.

“I am happy to be done and get back to work, and I look forward to meeting my teammates and fans and getting back there.

But before he did, a mixed message was being sent about exactly what was being paid. They may have been confused with soccer fans who are monitoring the situation.

Reporters near Liverpool announced the deal was worth £125 million. Sources close to Newcastle claim the deal is worth £130 million. Even if the move was announced, both clubs are using old “private fees” for what it is worth – the difference remained.

Alexander Isaac says goodbye to Newcastle United(Image: Serena Taylor, Newcastle United Getty Images)

So, what is the truth?

Well, as you can imagine, it’s somewhere in the middle.

From a Liverpool perspective, they are paying £125 million at a fixed fee. He becomes their cheapest signature to date, stealing Florian Whartz after an agreement was reached late Sunday evening. The Reds’ chief was toasting what he saw as a move win at Liverpool on Sunday night.

Newcastle, who revealed he wanted £150 million at the start of the summer, claims he will only sell it to two new strikers through the door at the entrance to St. James’ park, but is pleased with what he calls the £130 million “bank.” £20 million less than £150 million, but £20 million more than Liverpool’s first offer. This believes that price toon top brass is worth it for players who defeated the tool two months ago.

Where does the £5 million difference come from?

Well, basically, money is money that isn’t coming from Liverpool, but what Newcastle is saving is money. Isak is virtually not a persona, but never left a magpie on the hook for royalty payments and bonuses, as he was never actually handed over to a transfer request on Tyneside.

To close the transaction, Newcastle negotiated abandoning the £5 million that it had been liable for three years at the club.

So Liverpool reporters are calling it £125 million. Newcastle loyalists say it’s £130 million. And to add a bit of extra sauce, Newcastle clarified the belief that Liverpool “blinks first.”

At that last point, you might ask yourself, “Who cares?” However, once the transfer agreement is reached, the club cares a surprising amount of recognition – as Newcastle’s 37-word farewell statement shows.
