Mikel Arteta helped Eberechi Eze kickstart his Arsenal career with a full memo by issuing a statement in Anfield. The English international playmaker recently signed from Crystal Palace for a fee of \u00a367.5 million, but has history in derailing Liverpool’s Premier League title bid.<\/p>\n
Eze slotted the precious winner of the Merseyside Palace in April 2024, and a 1-0 victory crushed Jurgen Klopp’s hopes would end in his glorious nine-year reign of the Reds. When asked if the 27-year-old was ready to make his mark in Buka Yosaka and potentially Martin Odegard’s absence, Arteta’s response was highlighted: “Yes, he’s played there many times and I think he’s the type of player who loves these scenarios and these moments.<\/p>\n
“The moment he starts playing, I think you’ll see how the team reacts and what connections thrive from his intervention. I’m very confident because he’s been playing in the league for so many years.<\/p>\n
“We’re making sure to adapt to his qualities and put him in the right position as often as possible. We have to put him in a position and scenario where we can tell him why he brings him here and gives him something different, something unexpected.<\/p>\n
Arteta claims that Eze’s arrival caused a stir at the Sobha Realty Training Center, overwhelming the disappointment of injuring some of the top stars. When asked what he noticed about his latest arrival in training, Arteta said: “First, his energy.<\/p>\n

“When you’re next to him, you’re comfortable, he has a big smile, he chooses things, asks the right questions, and he’s just flowing up, he’s very impressive just because he chooses a pass, drives people from the past comfortably, and understands the timing of things.”<\/p>\n
Eze availability, along with the arrival of Nuni Maduke, created additional competition on the left side of Arsenal’s newly enhanced frontline. However, the Arsenal boss claims he is not interested in selling Gabriel Martinelli before Monday’s deadline.<\/p>\n

He quized whether the Brazilians could use it for transfers, saying, “No, Gabi is a very important player to us and I think he will remain very, very important.<\/p>\n
\u201cThen there is the state, the moment, how those players influence the game and there is a need for that competition.<\/p>\n
Arteta added that he is not worried about keeping players happy after a record summer and the new arrival of seven.<\/p>\n
He concluded: “No, no, I think it means that everyone is as happy as possible. That’s a big part of my job, and finally, our job, to make sure that every player feels they have fulfilled their potential.”<\/p>\n
