Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to take charge of Crystal Palace’s Nottingham Forest on Sunday, despite doubting his own future. The Portuguese head coach trained on Saturday morning, and the team voluntarily revealed that his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis has been broken.<\/p>\n
Also, between Nuno and the recently appointed Transfer Chief EDU, it began slowly but is approaching the end of the transfer window where four new signatures have arrived in the last eight days. Social media speculation, originating from overseas on Friday morning, suggests that the Reds are considering changing dugouts.<\/p>\n
The forest quickly and hardly scrubbed these reports to explain that he was not talking regularly with Marinakis, claiming that only Nuno was “where smoke is fire.” The club’s hierarchy remains gobsmacked by his reaction, and they are now squeezing whether to make a change or not.<\/p>\n
Ange Postecoglou and Jose Mourinho are one of the names that can be considered if you decide to say goodbye to Nuno. The former Spurs and wolf boss arrived at Forest in December 2023 and secured the Premier League safety before leading to Europe by finishing seventh last season.<\/p>\n

He signed a new three-year deal in June, saying that Marinakis was a strong connection between them at the time.<\/p>\n
However, Nuno’s comments on Friday suggested a dramatic change despite claiming he had no idea of \u200b\u200bthe reason behind the change in communication. Nuno volunteered to say that what once was a “respectful relationship” between the pair was “not that good.”<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI have always had a very good relationship with the owner, and last season was very, very, very, very close, almost every day.<\/p>\n

“This season isn’t very good, but my concern is that the team ahead of us has changed the season, so I always believe that what you say and what you say and what you say and what you say and what you say are always valid.<\/p>\n
