Liverpool star Mohamed Sara responded to speak after rival Declan Rice referenced Arsenal’s runner-up finishing trio on the PFA awards stage. Sarah won the Top Players Player of the Year Award at the event in Manchester.<\/p>\n
Rice joined Sarah on stage as part of the Team of the Year as one of the three Arsenal internationals, and also cut defenders Gabriel and William Saliba. Salah was one of Liverpool’s four stars, or five if he counted five, if he counted the new arrival Milos Kerquez, which was included based on Bournemouth’s performance last season.<\/p>\n
“It was really tough. It’s been two seconds for the third year in a row,” Rice said. “But I said it before, you have to go through some small losses to win, and we continue, we keep pushing, hopefully something can come for us.”<\/p>\n
When Rice mentioned the three runner-ups, it appeared that Sarah bowed her head and turned slightly to the left. Some fans of Liverpool on social media suggested that his instinct was to immediately head towards Reds captain Virgil van Dyke, but others were less sure.<\/p>\n
Referring to the Times where Liverpool fell behind Manchester City in 2019 and 2022, he speculated, “You’d suspect it’s malicious because they can be involved.”<\/p>\n

“It’s something that never happened in the Premier League. It’s something I’ll never forget and I’m not going to take it for granted, so I’m so happy about it,” Sarah said after becoming the first player to win a PFA award three times. The praise came after he finished as the top scorer in the league, and he made it clear that he didn’t want to stop there.<\/p>\n
“I’m still very hungry, so that’s why I signed for Liverpool () for another two years,” he added. \u201cIt’s great to play in the Premier League at that level.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven at my age of 33, I feel you can give more and make a difference in each game at all times.<\/p>\n

Both Liverpool and Arsenal have won the new Premier League season, albeit in a variety of situations. The Arne Slot champion fought a Bournemouth comeback and won 4-2 at home, but Mikel Arteta’s team was well defended in a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United.<\/p>\n
Both sides are scheduled to face off on August 31st, and both will have the opportunity to lay early markers in the title race. Previously, Liverpool heads to Newcastle for a tricky away tie, while Arsenal heads out to deny newly promoted Leeds a second straight victory.<\/p>\n
