Hammers vice president Karen Brady aimed for a thinly covered dig in Kudus on Monday morning, claiming it was sold after failing to meet last season’s expectations.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Talksport, she said: “It’s always difficult to lose the player you want to hold, but financial restrictions and PSR, as well as all the rules and regulations of football, means you have to make some kind of deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll clubs have to do that, and you need to be aware of the financial rules, so you are either limited to what you can buy or sell to try and buy.<\/p>\n

“That was the decision that was decided. He (Kudus) didn’t have a particularly good season for West Ham by his own standards last year, so we started moving on.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After confirming the move to Tottenham, Kudus said: \u201cI always wanted to play at the highest level, and I know the size of the club, the history and the Champions League, so that’s a big moment for me.<\/p>\n

“I’m finally here, I’m so happy and can’t wait to get started. The most important part of why I came here is the project and the way the manager develops under him.<\/p>\n

“To see where he comes from and the amount of talent he has developed to become a great player is a great indication of why I want to work under him.”<\/p>\n
