Liverpool’s hope to land Mark Guech this summer was boosted by rivals who have taken their attention elsewhere. However, a successful move for the England star will require an opportunity to approach the Reds.<\/p>\n
Arne Slot’s side has already seen two bids for Guehi, knocked back by Crystal Palace. They have no plans to make the third improved offer at this stage. The palace doesn’t seem to have been caught up in their evaluations.<\/p>\n
The decision to take a step back from Liverpool may have opened the door to Newcastle, which had not landed Guehi in the past. But now it appears that Malick Chio jumped to the top of the row on Eddie Howe’s side.<\/p>\n
According to Germany’s Sky Sport, Newcastle has made a written offer to Milan’s defender Chiau. If accepted, we can see that the Premier League side will pay German International around \u00a326 million.<\/p>\n
The Palace demands a great deal of more from Guehi, despite the captain having only one year left in his contract. Unless Liverpool decides to renew their interest and diverge nearly \u00a350 million, the Eagles skipper may stay at Selhurst Park for upcoming campaigns.<\/p>\n

Liverpool has limited centre-back options after selling Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen. If Konate Ibrahima has extended the contract, the pressure could be a little lessened as it is now expired in 2026, but the red still looks at the light.<\/p>\n
Captain Virgil Vandic Dick turned 34 in July, and Joe Gomez played 30 league games in one of the past five seasons. Wataru End was given minutes at centre-back in the preseason, but there is the option to move Andy Robertson inside after Milos Kerquez’s arrival, but the new senior centre-back could still arrive at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Joel Audnes International, Ecuador, is linked after being impressed by Club Bruges, but Konstantinos Koulierakis and Giovanni Leoni are also mentioned as potential options. But Wolfsberg and Greek star Courierakis is the oldest of the three at age 21, raising doubts about whether another old option is needed.<\/p>\n
Liverpool has already spent more than \u00a3200 million in other regions, including the addition of Kerquez and fellow fullback Jeremy Fripon.
