PARIS (AP) – Paris Saint-Germain signed Bournemouth Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabariny on a five-year deal for 63 million euros ($76 million) on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old centre-back joined the European champions in two and a half years at Bournemouth. Bournemouth has torn this offseason defense apart. Fellow centre back Dean Huysen departed for Real Madrid, leaving behind the left back Milos Querquez signed for Liverpool. <\/p>\n
However, these sales won 172 million euros at Bournemouth (around \u00a3150 million sterling).<\/p>\n
Zabarnyi will compete with Markinhos and Willian Pacho for a place at the heart of the PSG defense.<\/p>\n
“I’m very pleased to be part of Paris Saint-Germain,” Zabariny said. “I’m here to give you everything I have on the pitch and look forward to making my debut and meeting the fans.” <\/p>\n
