With the 2026 World Cup over, Premier League clubs can now turn their attention to the transfer market. A number of clubs have stepped up negotiations and a deal could be nearing completion.<\/p>\n
Premier League champions Arsenal have had a slow start to the summer, but Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to be busy soon. Meanwhile, last season’s runners-up Manchester City are not afraid to spend big, signing Elliott Anderson from Nottingham Forest in a blockbuster \u00a3116m deal.<\/p>\n
Chelsea are set to exceed Morgan Rodgers’ transfer fee, making it the biggest transfer of the summer after he completes a medical ahead of his \u00a3117m move from Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
Manchester United are also keen to back Michael Carrick, having signed a number of midfield players. Liverpool have completed a number of deals to give Andoni Iraola the best possible start at Anfield.<\/p>\n
And Tottenham have been a big spender so far, spending around \u00a3250m on the deal.<\/p>\n
