Mohamed Salah is set to join Besiktas after ending his legendary career at Liverpool, it has been claimed.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old admitted in March that the 2025-26 season would be his last at Anfield, and there has been speculation over his next move in recent weeks. Salah has attracted interest from around the world, including a long-time suitor from Saudi Arabia, but it now looks like he will remain in Europe.<\/p>\n

Foot Mercato reports via GFFN that Salah will head to T\u00fcrkiye after agreeing a one-year contract with Besiktas.<\/p>\n

The contract includes approximately 10 million euros (approximately 850 million yen), plus a further 2 million euros (approximately 170 million yen) in bonuses and an option to extend the contract for another year.<\/p>\n

Coach Besiktas hopes to conclude a deal early next week now that Salah’s World Cup appearance with Egypt has ended. The attacker is expected to undergo a medical check and officially sign the petition within the next few days.<\/p>\n

Salah’s claim that he has given the green light to join Besiktas comes just hours after the player’s agent Ramy Abbas updated fans on social media about his future.<\/p>\n

“We don’t know yet where Mohamed will play next season, but we might find out soon (smiley face emoji),” he wrote in a post for X.<\/p>\n

If Salah ultimately decides to move to Besiktas, he will link up with Leandro Trossard as part of the Turkish team’s new attack.<\/p>\n

Trossard completed his move from Arsenal to Turkey earlier this week, with the Premier League champions set to replace him with Christos Tzoris.<\/p>\n
