CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — Deandre Kerr scored in the first minute of suspension time to tie the Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC into a 1-1 draw on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Kerr took part in the play this season as the leader of the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield Races to help Toronto (5-13-7) score points against Union (15-5-6). Kerr won the equalizer after pitching to Ora Brinhildsen in the 76th minute.<\/p>\n

Rookie midfielder Malik Henry notched his first assist with Kerr’s goal in his third appearance after joining the match in the 76th minute.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia flew early when Indiana Vasirev scored his second goal of the season, taking a pass from Tai Chi Baribo in the four minutes. Baribo’s assist was his third.<\/p>\n

Luka Gablant made three total saves in his first start in Toronto this season.<\/p>\n

Andre Blake saved the three-shot for the union that beating Toronto 2-1 on the road in May. <\/p>\n

Milan Iroski signed with the Union this week and made her debut in the second half.<\/p>\n

Toronto had their first match against Djordje Mihailovic, who was bought from Colorado Rapids for a club record transfer fee.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia defender Jakob Glesnes was tagged with a yellow card in the 29th minute, missing the next match of yellow card accumulation.<\/p>\n

The union will fall to 10-1-4 at home. Their only loss was in Nashville in March.<\/p>\n

Toronto leads the best ever series 14-12-9, but hasn’t won Chester since March 2019. <\/p>\n

Union travels on Saturday to play the New York Red Bulls. Toronto will host Columbus crews on Saturday.<\/p>\n
