He was 44 years old.<\/p>\n<p>of <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Announced by the Romanian Football Federation<\/span> The death of the midfielder, who played nine times for the national team from 2007 to 2011, including qualifying for the World Cup and European Championship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Romanian Football Federation would like to express its deepest condolences to the family, friends and everyone who knew Gabriel Muresan,&#8221; it said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Muresan was a \u201cdedicated servant of our community.\u201d <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Appold said on Facebook.<\/span>. He had been mayor there since 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The most successful period of Muresan&#8217;s career was with Cluj, where he won the Romanian league title in 2008, 2010 and 2012.
