Guingamp and Saint-Etienne, where Keith spent seven years in the club&#8217;s academy system, both paid tribute to him in statements late Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>France records its hottest day ever <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">2nd day running<\/span> on wednesday. M\u00e9t\u00e9o France announced that the national temperature index (average of temperatures measured at 30 weather stations) has reached a new record of 30\u00b0C (86\u00b0F). This is the latest in a series of records never before recorded. <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">treble<\/span>. In some places, including Paris, the mercury exceeded 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).<\/p>\n<p>At least 40 drowning deaths have been recorded in the past week as people seek rescue in rivers and other bodies of water despite authorities&#8217; warnings against unsupervised swimming. Prime Minister S\u00e9bastien Lecorne said Tuesday that most drownings involve young people.<\/p>\n<p>Keith was pulled from the Rh\u00f4ne River in critical condition on Monday after drowning in a no-swimming zone near Lyon, French media reported.
