Milan Bounce Back With a Win Against Inter After Disappointment in Europe<\/h2>\n
Milan didn\u2019t arrive for that Sunday match in the best possible fashion as they went through massive criticism following their 3-1 home loss against Liverpool in the Champions League last midweek. Following a rather slow start in the league, there were already negative voices echoing against Fonseca, despite the coach having just arrived this summer in place of Stefano Pioli. <\/p>\n
However, those negative voices were eventually shut down as the Rossoneri took down their rival and Serie A defending champions, Inter 2-1. Just like their midweek game, Milan made a bright start and took the lead through Christian Pulisic\u2019s excellent effort after just 10 minutes of play. <\/p>\n
The Nerazzurri managed to draw level through Federico Dimarco\u2019s close-range finish in the 27th minute but Matteo Gabbia\u2019s header late in the game secured all three points for Milan. The away team arguably deserved to win that game as they did finish the game stronger, creating more clear-cut chances and would be disappointed if they didn\u2019t get all three points. <\/p>\n
Milan Win Showed Players\u2019 Support for Fonseca<\/h3>\n
The Red and Black squad\u2019s massive win in a way also shows to the public eye that they remain close and supportive of their new boss, Fonseca. Outside of the result, Milan showed a strong and solid performance throughout the game which is always a sign that the players are willing to fight it out for their tactician who has been under scrutiny. <\/p>\n
Further proof of the Rossoneri\u2019s support for Fonseca was stated by the club\u2019s hero on the night, Gabbia who spoke to the media after the match. The defender said to DAZN IT that he and his teammates have always been on the coach\u2019s side regardless of what was said by the press. Moreover, Milan\u2019s youth product defender also hopes that they can maintain the spirit and performance for upcoming matches as well. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s our job to train well and do our best on the pitch so we won\u2019t have any regrets after ninety minutes,\u201d the defender added. <\/em><\/p>\n The Rossoneri\u2019s Sunday victory over Simone Inzaghi\u2019s men was also their first in their last six meetings across all competition.
