Michael Oliseh’s future remains the subject of speculation as the summer transfer window heats up, with the Bayern Munich star roaming around for France at the World Cup.<\/h2>\n

Bayern Munich want to hand in-demand Michael Oliseh a lucrative new contract to fend off interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool. Olise, 24, is currently playing for France at the World Cup after a sensational season with Bayern that saw him win the Bundesliga Player of the Year award.<\/p>\n
However, the winger’s future remains uncertain, with Real said to be preparing a world record bid worth \u00a3190m. Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the former Crystal Palace star, who left Selhurst Park in July 2024 in a deal worth up to \u00a351 million.<\/p>\n
The Frenchman has put pen to paper on a contract until 2029, but now Bayern want to extend his stay. According to reports, Allianz Arena bosses are willing to sign him to a new five-year contract to secure his long-term future.<\/p>\n
His annual salary has increased from \u00a313m per season to an eye-watering \u00a322m, which is decisively more than he earns at Madrid. Bayern president Herbert Hainer has insisted that he will not listen to offers for Olise.<\/p>\n

Heiner recently told Bild: “Michael Olise is a Bayern Munich player who still has a long-term contract, but we are not a club that sells players. If Florentino Perez wants to make us an offer – which hasn’t happened yet – he can save himself trouble.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, former Bayern manager Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisted the German giants would “not budge” no matter the price. “Let’s talk about the past,” Rummenigge began.<\/p>\n
“In 2009, we received an incredible offer from Chelsea for Franck Ribery, which at the time would have been a new world transfer record. I then passed this offer on to our then CFO Karl Hopfner and Uli Hoene\u00df.<\/p>\n
“We talked about it for two hours and thought about what to do. That day, we made a fundamental decision: We would never sell a player who didn’t want to be on the pitch again.”<\/p>\n

“And this unspoken rule still applies. For a player like Oliseh, there is no price tag that will daunt us.”<\/p>\n
Rummenigge went on to say of Olise: “He’s a great player. I also understand how reserved and almost media-shy he is, which is rare these days.”<\/p>\n
“He’s a great guy, outstanding on the pitch and the way he plays football is like magic. So it’s no wonder he’s incredibly popular and hyped among our fans.”<\/p>\n
Olise played in 32 league games for Bayern, scoring 15 goals and providing 21 assists as they retained their Bundesliga title. The 24-year-old provided a further two assists in France’s 3-1 win over Senegal at the World Cup on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
