Partey was on his way back to Ghana’s base camp in Rhode Island after his visa was denied. He will be available for Ghana’s match against England on June 23 in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Ghana concludes group play against Croatia on June 27 in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

Partey, who currently plays for Villarreal in Spain, has pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\nPlayers participating in the World Cup for the second time, Morocco national team defender Achraf Hakimi<\/span>is awaiting trial on similar charges in Paris.<\/p>\nThis will be Ghana’s fifth appearance in the last six World Cups.<\/p>\n
