Liverpool’s new head coach Andoni Iraola could bring in three Bournemouth players from the south coast. The 43-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Reds.<\/p>\n
Iraola, who led the Cherries to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League and into European football for the first time in the club’s history, was chosen to replace Arne Slott.<\/p>\n
The Dutch manager finished this season at the top of the table, three points behind Bournemouth, and although he won the league title in his first season, he failed to win a trophy.<\/p>\n
Liverpool are currently set to push forward under Iraola, but if he can persuade some of Bournemouth’s standout players to move to Anfield, his influence could soon be felt in the transfer market. Mirror Football has set the rules for three of the Cherries’ star players that the new manager could poach from his old club.<\/p>\n

Marcos Senesi<\/h3>\n
The most obvious and immediate target that Iraola is trying to lure to Liverpool is Argentine centre-back Marcos Senesi. The 29-year-old has been instrumental in Bournemouth’s achievements this season, establishing himself as one of the division’s best on-ball defenders.<\/p>\n

Senesi confirmed at the start of the season that he would leave the Vitality Stadium at the end of the season and the club have already said goodbye. He is widely expected to take the job at Tottenham when the transfer window opens.<\/p>\n
However, Liverpool could benefit from additional defensive reinforcements following the loss of Ibrahima Konate, with Senesi linked to him last month. Iraola could offer his former player an attractive offer and persuade him to make a free transfer to Anfield.<\/p>\n
Rayan<\/h3>\n
Bournemouth have maintained a strategy of acquiring young players, nurturing promising talent and turning them into budding superstars. Brazilian forward Rayan is the latest international addition to this production line of promising young players.<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old only joined Cherries in January for an initial \u00a324.7m from Vasco da Gama. But with five goals in just 15 top-flight appearances, the teenager looks to have real talent and has already earned a call-up to Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad.<\/p>\n

Iraola could develop Rayan into a Premier League-caliber player in the coming months and consider a move to Liverpool, where he could be used as a right-winger in Mohamed Salah’s absence.<\/p>\n
However, price can be an issue. talkSPORT report that Bournemouth have included an \u00a387m release clause in the player’s contract, but it only comes into effect next summer. As a result, a move this year could be cost-prohibitive, so it may be necessary to postpone the move until then.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth also boast a range of talent, including Alex Scott and Junior Crupi, both of whom will be enthusiastically welcomed by Liverpool.<\/p>\n

However, Tyler Adams has been equally integral to the Cherries’ performance, and there is no doubt that the Reds have strengthened in areas that need strengthening. Ryan Gravenbirch has been chosen to retain midfield, with Alexis Mac Allister able to play a somewhat deeper role.<\/p>\n
Wataru Endo is the most defensive midfielder on the current team, but he could leave this summer. Adams brings great physicality to the midfield through his tackling and ball recovery, and has a tireless energy level that would make him an invaluable asset to a team like Liverpool.<\/p>\n
He is 27 years old and has a contract until 2028, meaning he will not command an exorbitant fee. Adams would ultimately provide another reliable option for the Reds, who may soon be short on cover.<\/p>\n
