Current Inter manager Cristian Chivu also played for the team.<\/p>\n<p>Aleksandar Stankovi\u0107 developed through Inter&#8217;s youth ranks, but did not make any first-team appearances and was loaned to Swiss Super League side Lucerne in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>He signed with Brugge on a long-term contract the following season, but Inter exercised their buy-back clause at the first opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Inter reportedly sold Stankovic to Bruges for 10 million euros ($11.6 million), with an option to take him back in 2026 for 23 million euros ($26.8 million), and an even higher price of 25 million euros ($29.1 million) if activated in June 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Defensive midfielder Stankovic was an ever-present for Brugge last season, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in all competitions and winning the Belgian league&#8217;s Young Player of the Year award.<\/p>\n<p>He also played in eight games for the Serbian national team, scoring one goal.<\/p>\n<p>___<\/p>\n<p>AP Soccer: <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/soccer<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/stankovic-inter-milan-signing-2883d21061d3dbcfb3d24fc0a4f05d86\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MILAN (AP) &#8211; The son of one of Inter Milan&#8217;s treble-winning heroes is returning to the Serie A club.
