England begin their World Cup campaign next week, but the squad numbers for Thomas Tuchel’s squad have been revealed, along with one or two interesting calls.<\/h2>\n

Jude Bellingham has received a major boost in the race to start the World Cup after England manager Thomas Tuchel named the Real Madrid star at number 10 on his squad number list for the competition submitted to FIFA.<\/p>\n
Bellingham is competing with Morgan Rodgers for the coveted center spot, and while the team’s numbers aren’t a guaranteed indicator, they certainly speak for themselves. Nico O’Reilly and Marcus Rashford will also be among the first shirts handed out to 26 players in the tournament. O’Reilly is favorite to start at left-back, while Rashford is competing with Anthony Gordon to start on the left wing, so this could give them a boost.<\/p>\n
Rodgers has won many admirers for his performances this season and is a strong candidate for a move to Arsenal this summer.<\/p>\n
Tuchel is a big fan and defended him ahead of Bellingham, but the Real Madrid man is now recovering well and hopes to start in the first match against Croatia on June 17th.<\/p>\n
England players took part in their first training session in the US on Tuesday after arriving in Florida on Monday night.<\/p>\n
They held a public session for local residents at the West Palm Beach Tennis Club, with 26 players in attendance. However, Arsenal’s quartet of Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke have been given until Friday to report, with Crystal Palace keeper Dean Henderson expected to arrive on the Wednesday after their respective European finals.<\/p>\n
However, the group has been further strengthened by additional players including trainees Alex Scott, Rio Ngmoha, Josh King and Ethan Nwaneri, as well as keeper Jason Steele, who has joined the team and is helping out in training.<\/p>\n

meanwhile. Reece James was given the number 24 shirt to wear at Chelsea, while Ezri Konsa wears the number 2 shirt given to Kyle Walker in recent competitions under Gareth Southgate before retiring from international football.<\/p>\n
This means John Stones will wear the No. 5 shirt, but the central defensive position is very much in the spotlight with potential starters Konsa and Marc Gehi.<\/p>\n
