Oliver Glasner spoke in Leipzig ahead of Crystal Palace’s Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano.<\/h2>\n

Oliver Glasner wants Crystal Palace to make history again<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n
Oliver Glassner insists Crystal Palace can leapfrog to Conference League glory tonight and win the Europa League again next season.<\/p>\n
The Austrian manager, who is aiming for a third trophy against the Eagles in his final match in charge, wants his players to use last summer’s UEFA ruling as inspiration and “get what they deserve this year.”<\/p>\n
Glasner said the following ahead of the match against Rayo Vallecano. “I don’t like what I say to the players, but they gave me a nice farewell yesterday so I said a few words.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said the best thing is to win, of course, but not just to win tomorrow, because then the players are allowed to leave and they can get next year what they were supposed to get this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to see them start in the Europa League on TV with the desire and confidence to win the Europa League.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is really gratifying to me because I think we created this mindset together that we will always be successful.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt doesn\u2019t mean we win trophies every year, but in the end we always bring out the best in each player.<\/p>\n
“That’s why I hope we win tomorrow and they can play in European football next year as well.”<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, both Adam Wharton and central defender Chris Richards remain questionable.<\/p>\n
They trained in London yesterday but Richards was unable to complete the session and both stars are still in pain with ankle problems.<\/p>\n
Coach Glasner said he doesn’t intend to start anyone who isn’t “100 percent.”<\/p>\n

Adam Wharton faces a battle to prove his suitability for Crystal Palace<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
He explained: “I can’t say whether they will start or not, but they were available for training today.<\/p>\n
“I’m working late at the doctor’s office, so I’ll talk to you again tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n
“If there is any concern, they may not start, but there is no doubt that they will be able to train without any major problems.<\/p>\n
“Of course they have pain, but a lot of players have pain after a long season.”<\/p>\n
Dean Henderson also revealed that the Crystal Palace team have created an emotional video montage containing a personal message ahead of their farewell to their beloved manager.<\/p>\n
