The Arsenal defender appeared to mock Manchester City during his raucous celebrations on Tuesday night, hinting at the club’s crushing defeat in the Premier League title race. The Gunners were crowned top-flight champions for the first time since 2004 after City could only draw 1-1 with Bournemouth.<\/p>\n
Mikel Arteta’s side feasted until the early hours after finally clinching the title after three successive runners-up finishes, with Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice turning up at the Emirates at 5am on Wednesday morning. Arsenal have faced ridicule in the past for lacking the mental fortitude to become champions, with City supporters infamously seen last month munching on bottles to symbolize the Gunners’ filling the bottle.<\/p>\n
Now, Hincapie appears to have hinted that City may have bottled it after he was photographed drinking an Arsenal bottle during Tuesday’s title celebrations. Meanwhile, Saka shared a video on social media of Miles Lewis-Skelly clutching a bottle of champagne. He said: \u201cThey called us bottlers.<\/p>\n

Rice also took to Instagram during the celebrations, sharing a selfie alongside Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Louis Skelly, Saka and William Saliba, with the caption: “I told you guys, it’s over.”<\/p>\n
Rice’s words were in reference to a video that went viral of him saying “It’s not over yet” after Arsenal’s loss to City in April. The Gunners will be presented with the Premier League trophy after Sunday afternoon’s game against Crystal Palace (4pm BST).<\/p>\n

Among those sending congratulations to Arsenal was legendary former manager Arsene Wenger, the last manager to lead the Gunners to the title.<\/p>\n
In a message shared across the club’s social media channels, he said: “You did it. Champions keep going when others stop. It’s your time. Now go on and enjoy every moment.”<\/p>\n
